🔐 NOW HIRING: PHYSICAL SECURITY DESIGN SPECIALIST 📍 Parkersburg, WV Area | Office/Hybrid 💰 $50,000–$60,000/year, based on experience 🕐 Full-Time | Salaried Parkersburg Mancan is partnering with a local company seeking a Physical Security Design Specialist to develop detailed, installation-ready security system designs. 🛠️ RESPONSIBILITIES Design access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and low-voltage systems Create floor plans, device layouts, riser diagrams, and design documentation Develop BOMs, equipment schedules, and product specifications Review site surveys and architectural/construction drawings Support estimating, sales, project management, and field teams Prepare permits, submittals, and as-built drawings Ensure designs meet applicable NEC, NFPA, ADA, and local code requirements ✅ REQUIREMENTS 3–5 years of experience in physical security, low-voltage, system design, or drafting Knowledge of access control, surveillance, intrusion, and low-voltage systems
Experience with design/site-survey software;
System Surveyor preferred Ability to read architectural and construction drawings Understanding of NEC, NFPA, ADA, and applicable codes Knowledge of IP networking as it relates to security systems Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Valid driver's license for occasional site visits Preferred:
Engineering/design certification or degree, NICET or manufacturer certifications, PSP certification, low-voltage/alarm license, and security integration experience. 📢 Apply today through Parkersburg Mancan!
