About the Role

West Virginia University Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Neurology in the WVU School of Medicine seek a Stroke/Vascular Neurologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.

Responsibilities
  • Practice in the areas of neurology and vascular neurology.
  • Provide excellent patient care.
  • Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Collaborate with an active multidisciplinary team of neuro-critical care providers including neurologists, neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, and interventional neuroradiologists for patient care, research, and education.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligibility for state medical license.
  • Completed neurology residency program and vascular neurology fellowship program.
  • Board certified or eligible in neurology and vascular neurology. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
