Position: Academic Position for Gastroenterologists in the Beautiful West Virginia Mountains
Location: GranvilleA well-known Academic Medical Center located in the beautiful West Virginia Mountains is excited to welcome a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to their Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. This 1,000+ bed, Level I trauma center is the leading academic medical center in West Virginia. Named a Best Regional Hospital by U.S News and World Report, they strive to be the best healthcare provider and teaching hospital in West Virginia.

Position/Program Highlights:
Join a highly collegial team of 10 clinical faculty and 6 APPs comprised of General GIs, transplant surgeons, GI subspecialists, and Advanced EndoscopistsOpen to General GI, GI Hospitalists, and all subspecialized gastroenterologistsExpand outpatient clinics and endoscopy procedures throughout Charleston3 weeks of overnight call coverage/yearA dedicated clinical support teamStrong collaborative support from colorectal surgery, GI pathology, GI radiology, and Pediatric GIIntegrated practice model with a robust internal referral networkGI-dedicated clinical research infrastructure – research is encouraged but not required24/7 reliable hospitalists onsiteOpportunity to teach — The institution supports strong GI fellowship and Internal Medicine residency programsFaculty Appointment (commensurate with experience) with guaranteed protected research timeH1B and J1 Visas can be supportedAbove Average Academic compensation ($575k+ base salary)Benefits and Offerings:
