October 6, 2025 We are seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for a locum tenens position offering weekend coverage at a dynamic acute care hospital near Parsons, WV. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality care in a flexible, low-volume setting???ideal for physicians looking to supplement their practice or seeking part-time locum work with consistency.

Schedule:

1 weekend per month, from 5 pm Friday to 7 am Monday Responsibilities:
Provide scheduled and on-call urological care during weekend shifts. Handle patient consults, typically seeing 1-2 patients on Friday and 5-10 on Saturday and Sunday. Perform necessary urological procedures, including stents, stones, and clot evacuation. Utilize the Cerner EMR system for patient documentation and care management. Requirements:
Board Certification in Urology is mandatory. Current state medical license is required; willingness to license only if under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). DEA registration is necessary. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Experience in a Level 4 trauma setting is preferable. Credentialing timeframe is approximately 45-60 days. This role does not include additional support for call coverage, so the ability to work independently is essential.
