Physician- Rheumatology

Position Overview

West Virginia University School of Medicine, Section of Rheumatology is seeking an Academic Rheumatologist qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank.

• Practice the full range of outpatient and inpatient Rheumatology; provide excellent patient care.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in our ACGME accredited fellowship program.
• Participate in quality improvement, research, and pursue grant support within the Division.
• Support rural access to rheumatology; may serve areas outside Morgantown in West Virginia or Pennsylvania via in‑person or telemedicine as needed.

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and eligible to obtain a state medical license.
• Completed an accredited internal medicine residency program and a rheumatology fellowship; board eligible/certified in rheumatology.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Practice in Morgantown, WV; may provide services at additional West Virginia or Pennsylvania sites as operational needs dictate.
