We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to join a dynamic inpatient care team on a locum tenens basis. This exciting opportunity offers a flexible schedule and the chance to work with an established team at a hospital in beautiful southern West Virginia. Assignment Details

Inpatient Pediatrics and Newborn Nursery (Call Only) Patients Per
Shift: 110
Shifts:
7 AM start, 7 AM end Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Key Responsibilities Rounding on both pediatric inpatients and newborns. Managing ventilation for neonates and pediatric patients (acute and chronic). Performing various procedures including intubation, lumbar punctures, central lines, UVC, UAC, chest tube insertions, and more. Handling conscious and deep sedation for pediatric cases. Interpreting X-rays, EKGs, and conducting exchange transfusions when needed. Facility Details Trauma Level: III Pediatrics Level: I 12-bed Pediatric wing with sub-specialty support available.
Established blocked scheduling for efficient coverage. Requirements License:
Active WV medical license or eligibility via IMLC.
Certifications:
BLS PALS NRP Credentialing Timeline: 60 days (faster for clean histories). Perks Paid travel and lodging. Comprehensive malpractice insurance provided by the vendor.
