WVUHS Medical Group seeks a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, WV.

Practice medicine for the right reasons, with the right people.

Ripley, WV is a small, progressive city, located in the beautiful

Appalachian foothills of the Ohio River, Ripley enjoys the linkageto the junction of the two major road systems, Interstate 77 N/Sand US Route 33 E/W. The seat of Jackson County, and surrounded bya pristine valley rich in natural wonders and beauty, Ripley hasalways been the regional heart of activity.

The Jackson General Hospital Emergency Department provides acutecare services for patients of all ages, 24 hours a day, seven daysa week, 365 days a year. With a Level IV trauma center, adult and pediatric patients are seen for any cardiac, respiratory, trauma,or general medicine issues. Our goal is to deliver quick, effective diagnosis and treatment or transport for all patients.

Qualifications: Applicants must have a MD or DO degree orforeign equivalent and be eligible to obtain state medical license.

Applicants must have completed Emergency Medicine residency and/ora fellowship and be eligible for the American Board of Medical Specialties. Emergency Medicine Board Certification required. All qualifications must be met at the time of appointment.
