Adjunct Instructor, Liberal Arts - WVU Potomac State College (Keyser)
West Virginia University's Potomac State College campus in Keyser, West Virginia, is seeking to develop a pool of qualified adjunct instructors to fill part‑time teaching opportunities as they become available. The college invites applications for part‑time adjunct positions to teach Liberal Arts related courses in person and/or online. Potential areas of need include art history, child development and family studies, communication studies, English, media studies, political science, psychology, social work, and sociology.
ResponsibilitiesTeach Liberal Arts related courses in person and/or online, using innovative teaching methodologies and systems which actively engage students in the learning process.
Qualifications- A minimum of a master's degree in the course content area from a regionally accredited college or university is required at the time of appointment OR a master's degree in a related field and 18 credit hours in the course content area and/or work experience in the field.
- Previous college teaching experience is valued.
- APPQMR certification or equivalent is required for online teaching.

Applications will be accepted throughout the year and will be considered as openings arise. Salary is established on a per course basis.
