Position: SEN Teacher – Full Time (32.5 hours per week). Salary: M1-M6 or UPS1-UPS

• Teach a class of 6-10 children with Education Health and Care Plans for primary need of ASD.
• Implement and deliver a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum.
• Set challenging, achievable targets for each child and monitor progress throughout the year.
• Produce medium- and short-term plans of work and contribute to overall curriculum planning.
• Facilitate learning experiences, manage classroom support staff, and ensure effective practice.
• Assist in raising standards of pupil attainment and support personal and academic growth.
• Assist in managing pupils’ personal care needs where appropriate.
• Maintain discipline and encourage good behaviour and standards of work.
• Lead and evaluate assessment, update professional knowledge, and attend meetings as required.
• Communicate with parents and external professional bodies, following school policies.

• Enthusiastic SEN/Autism specialist with relevant experience and proven track record.
• Ability to manage classroom environment and support children with EHCP outcomes.
• Strong communication skills with parents and professional bodies.
