Middle School Tutor Practice in Queens, NY

Job Overview

We are seeking an Education Champion to provide in‑person academic support for Math and ELA to middle school students (6th–8th grade) across 6‑8 grade classrooms in Queens, NY. This part‑time role offers a flexible schedule of 10‑35 hours per week.

• In‑Person Programs: $25–$27 per hour
• Program completion bonus up to 10% of total earnings
• Professional development and ongoing training

• Provide one‑on‑one and small group tutoring in core subjects such as Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Regents exam preparation.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and school leaders to design and implement personalized learning strategies.
• Assist students in building confidence and improving academic skills.
• Participate in monthly training and professional development sessions.

• Degree‑seeking undergraduate or graduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA in Education or a relevant field.
• Passion for learning and commitment to supporting underserved students.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers, leaders, and tutors.
• Available to work 10–35 hours per week at an assigned school (or virtual program).
