Part‑time adjunct faculty positions in the School of Natural Resources and the Environment at West Virginia University are available. Appointments are on a semester‑by‑semester basis with varying instructional needs depending on course enrollments and faculty availability. The appointment is on an as‑needed basis; qualified candidates may be contacted at any time when an opportunity becomes available.

• A graduate degree relevant to the course(s) taught is required at the time of appointment; a doctoral degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and teach undergraduate and/or graduate students.
• Experience with student‑centered instruction, inclusive pedagogy, and/or experiential learning approaches is desirable.
• Professional experience in applied settings relevant to the course(s) taught is preferred.
