Job Description
- The Department of Modern Languages in the College of Liberal Arts at Marshall University invites applications for a three-year term, full-time Japanese instructor position in the Japanese Program, starting in August 2026, with the possibility of renewal. Responsibilities will include teaching all levels of Japanese language, student support, and participation in departmental and programmatic service. We seek an instructor with a strong interest in developing engaging instruction for undergraduate students.

Primary teaching assignments will include a variety of language and culture courses in Japanese, culture courses taught in English for majors and non-majors, and requirements for critical thinking and international classes.

Qualifications Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description. Required Qualifications
