Job Description – Part‑time Adjunct Teaching Positions – School of Mathematics and Data Science (28955)

The School of Mathematics and Data Sciences at West Virginia University invites applications for Part‑time Adjunct Teaching Positions in the areas of mathematics, statistics, and data science.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in‑person or online courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs of the School of Mathematics and Data Science.

Salary is established on a per‑course basis.

These positions require a master’s or doctoral degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a closely related discipline, along with evidence of effective teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level. Generally, individuals with a doctoral degree are eligible to teach graduate or undergraduate courses; individuals with a master’s degree are eligible to teach undergraduate courses.
