Job Description
- Primary Responsibilities Serves as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on research projects related to cardiovascular disease, aging, obesity diabetes, and chronic kidney disease.

Develop and maintain a robust, independently funded research program in mechanistic translational, or population-based cardiovascular science.

Lead and contributeNIHR
01 and other major grant applications.

Disseminate research findings through peer-reviewed journals and scientific meetings.

Foster collaboration with clinical and basic science faculty across disciplines.

Mentor medical residents, graduate residents, and postdoctoral fellows.

Pursue and maintain external funding fromNIH,AHA,CDC, and other agencies.

Engage in limited teaching responsibilities as appropriate.
