- The School of Nursing in the College of Health Professions has an opening for a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor. Position available August 2026. Responsible for the accreditation of the MSN program. Curriculum development, revision, and evaluation. Active engagement in student recruitment, admission, and progression.

Qualifications Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description. Required Qualifications

Education
- Required – Terminal Degree (Doctoral Degree) Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.

Required:

FNP Certification. Current West Virginia license or a license from a Compact state or ability to obtain licenses prior to the start of contract.

Experience
- At least three years practicing in the Advance Practice role. Cross-cultural communication skills, with multicultural sensitivity and experience interacting effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff desire.

Required:

At least two years' experience teaching at the graduate level.
