Salary:
Salary based on experience and education level per TCBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.

Qualifications:

The successful applicant for this position must possess and/or show evidence of the following:

• Valid WV Certificate in the area for which applying.
• Strong academic background.
• Practical knowledge and understanding of childhood developmental needs.
• Understanding of principles needed to obtain positive classroom student behavior.
• Skills in writing and speaking.
• Knowledge and/or experience in working with computers.
• Bases instruction on adopted curricula for the school.
• Follows established school discipline procedures which include the WV Student Code of Conduct.
• Implements lesson plans.
• Follows grading policies and regulations.
• Communicates student progress according to established procedures and policies.
• Adheres to established laws, policies, rules and regulations.
