Salary:
Salary based on experience and education level per TCBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
Qualifications:
The successful applicant for this position must possess and/or show evidence of the following:
- Valid WV Certificate in the area for which applying.
- Strong academic background.
- Practical knowledge and understanding of childhood developmental needs.
- Understanding of principles needed to obtain positive classroom student behavior.
- Skills in writing and speaking.
- Knowledge and/or experience in working with computers.
- Bases instruction on adopted curricula for the school.
- Follows established school discipline procedures which include the WV Student Code of Conduct.
- Implements lesson plans.
- Follows grading policies and regulations.
- Communicates student progress according to established procedures and policies.
- Adheres to established laws, policies, rules and regulations.
