Faculty Biology

Position Overview

West Liberty University is seeking a 9‑month, non‑tenure track Faculty Biology member to teach undergraduate courses in all areas of biology, including majors/non‑majors biology, microbiology, and anatomy & physiology. The position will develop remote‑learning courses and teach additional courses in their area of expertise as needed.

• Curriculum development
• Student advisement
• Online instruction
• Participation in activities related to student recruitment and retention

Minimum: earned M.S. in Biology or a Master’s in a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience at the collegiate level, particularly in laboratory courses.

Faculty members participate in continuous improvement in teaching, professional development, and service to the University and community.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

• Employees, dependents, and spouses: 100% waiver for undergraduate tuition; employees only: 50% waiver for graduate tuition for certain programs.
