Digital Learning/Technology Coach
Work with students in elementary and middle school, Grades Pre-K - 8. Train and assist teachers with the integration of educational software and hardware in lesson plans. Train and assist educators in evaluating new technologies. Train and assist teachers in the integration of Internet resources in lesson plans. Train and assist educators to manage technologies and responsible use of technology. Foster independent technology used among educators.
Train and assist educators in creating tiered technology use by helping students meet state technology standards at the appropriate grade levels. Train and assist educators in creating technological learning communities within their schools. Staff development pertaining to technology. Assist with issuing, maintaining, and collecting of Chromebooks. On-line textbook support. Assist with all on-line programs including, but not limited to… Accelerated Reader, Kahn Academy, Schoology, and benchmark programs.
Assisting with STEM programs and 3D printing. Work collaboratively with Central Office staff, School Administrators, and Teachers. Conduct district training for school level administrators and teachers regarding curriculum and technology. Assist classroom teachers in navigating, understanding, and implementing new curriculum and supporting technology/online platforms. Oversee technology instructional integration for PES/PMS. Liaison between schools, county with curriculum and technology issues and questions.
Manage the district's online, technological curriculum and programs. Oversee the school's maintenance of online, technological programs. Identify teaching strategies, curriculum, software, and other educational resources available to meet specific school, teacher and student needs. Confer with school support teams concerning the implementation of curriculum and technology. Attend training sessions, meetings, seminars, workshops, and conferences. Provide embedded professional development through coaching cycles with an emphasis on technology aligned with current curriculum.
Maintain professional work habits. Collaborate to ensure the use of technology in the teaching process and the integration of instructional technology. Prepare and submit accurate reports in a timely manner, as required. Communicate concerns to the Principal, Director of Academic Programs, Director of Technology and Information Systems, and the Superintendent about policies and procedures. Provide training to parents on curriculum and technology.
Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
Qualifications:
Must hold a valid teaching certificate to cover above grade levels. Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience. Must pass a drug screening and background check. Salary:
Base Salary $45,375 with a bachelor's degree for 200 days (Salary based on experience and education level per Monroe County BOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation) Effective date August 17, 2026. Deadline for Application:
