The Clinic Director will direct the operation of the LITC, teach the LITC Seminar, supervise students on existing client matters, and participate with other clinical faculty in the operation of the Office of Clinical Legal Education. Candidates will be expected to teach in the residential law program and the online JD interactive program. In addition to directing the clinic, each clinic director is typically expected to teach additional courses in their area of expertise.

Duties may be adjusted over time by the College of Law as needs evolve.

Candidates should have an excellent academic record and a J.D. from an accredited law school. Preferred post‑J.D. experience and credentials include advanced degrees, judicial clerkships, relevant legal practice, proficiency with the use of AI tools in legal practice, litigation or administrative advocacy experience, and prior teaching experience. A demonstrated commitment to excellent classroom teaching, student supervision, mentoring, and training new attorneys is required.
