Phlebotomy Instructor
Position:
Phlebotomy Instructor
How Selected:
Application Recommendation of the Superintendent Employment by the Board of Education
Qualifications:
Holds a valid license as a registered professional nurse from the West Virginia Board of Examiners for Registered Professional Nurses; OR Holds a valid license as a medical laboratory technician from the West Virginia Office of Laboratory Services.
Immediate Supervisor:
Principal/Director of Career and Technical Education
Performance Responsibilities:
- Develop course outlines and lesson plans for teaching the phlebotomy skills and related courses.
- Direct and supervise student learning in the classroom and clinical areas.
- Evaluate and record student performance.
- Participate in the counseling and guidance of students related to their course of instruction.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the administration.
Term of Employment:
Up to 10 hours/week x 20 weeks
Salary: $25/hour
Evaluation:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with West Virginia Board of Education Policy 5310.
