Music Teacher Position

The town hall of Die is looking for a music teacher for its music and fine arts school in the context of a replacement for retirement starting January 1, 2027. You will be responsible for teaching music to children, primarily for a weekly duration of 5 hours. You contribute to the musical education of the student and the transmission of its cultural values (music training level 1, 2, 3, etc.).

You integrate your action into the project of the establishment and collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary pedagogical team in a spirit of consultation and collaboration. It is possible to combine this position with the teaching missions of saxophone (weekly duration: 4 hours). Classes will take place on Wednesdays for the  year. Your main duties will be the following:

• Develop a coherent and adapted pedagogical progression to the audiences welcomed
• Transmit technical and musical know-how
• Transmit technical bases through learning
• Contribute within a team approach, to the transmission of skills related to the musical language, to the creation and the openness to different artistic aesthetics and forms
• Ensure the pedagogical follow-up and the evaluation of the students within a concerted approach
• Be involved in the pedagogical project of the school and in its implementation
• Participate, through its reflections and its proposals, to the pedagogical council

KNOWLEDGE:
• State diploma of music teacher (or equivalent)
• In-depth mastery of musical training techniques
• Knowledge of the pedagogical orientation scheme of the Ministry of Culture
• Functioning of an educational establishment, body of consultation and decision
• Principles and implementation of an establishment project
• Design, apply and evaluate an individual and collective pedagogical device

• Integrate to its teaching technique the conditions of exercise of an artistic practice
