Kanawha County Public Schools is seeking an Itinerant Special Education Aide for the 2026-27 school year. The aide assists teachers with instructional programs, works with children in small groups or one-to-one, and provides general assistance to students to build a solid educational foundation.
Where applicable, the aide supervises student bus passengers and ensures proper restraints. The role spans Aide II–IV, Autism Mentor, and Paraprofessional classifications, with a minimum 200 days per
