Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Experience working with parents
- Experience working with West Taylor faculty and staff
- Experience working with copiers, comb binder, laminating machine, printers, risographs, and other office machines
- Experience performing routine office machine maintenance
- Basic computer skills;
Microsoft word, Excel, Graphics Program - Flexible hours

Principal and Director of Curriculum
Responsibilities:
- Provide Family Engagement Coordinator duties at West Taylor Elementary School during the school term
- Receive training in working with parents and staff
- Instruct other parents in procedures and policies for volunteering
- Attend all county and school-level parent trainings/activities
- Attend and assist with all West Taylor Elementary parent involvement activities
- Assist staff in making contacts with new parents to provide resources and information about parent/school functions
- Provide ongoing communication to all West Taylor parents
- Assist with planning, preparation (including necessary clerical, paperwork, etc.), and delivery of all parent activities
- Duties of this nature are to be performed on-site and/or at the TCBOE central office if/when assigned
- Keep a daily log of parent volunteers' activities
- Assist with parent involvement record keeping including maintenance of materials and equipment inventories
- Assist with "Literacy Room" upkeep
- Maintain confidentiality of all activities, student, and parent information that would be of a confidential nature both during the contracted service and after the termination of said contracted services
Term of Employment:
West Taylor Entitlement funding will provide compensation at the rate of $10.00 per hour for as long as funding is available.
