Qualifications:

Valid WV Teaching Certificate or WVDE Substitute Permit Must pass a background check

Job Functions:

• Maintain a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of the students
• Implement effective lessons in the absence of regular instructor
• Ensure the district policies are observed during all activities
• Create a safe classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Maintain confidentiality
• Abide by state statutes, school board policies, and regulations
• Must maintain a courteous and professional demeanor
• Adhere to strong confidentiality standards at all times
• Other duties as assigned by the principal or personnel office
