Cte Teacher
Job description is available online or upon request for CTE teacher. This position will only be filled with a long-term substitute if a qualified candidate is not secured for the regular position or if the successful applicant for the regular position is unable to assume the position. Contract will be terminated upon hire of regularly employed personnel during the School Year, if the position is no longer posted due to lack of need, or the School Year concludes.
This position is for the School Year only.
Qualifications:
- West Virginia Career Technical Certificate Certified to teach Cabinet Manufacturing and Business Education
- Successful completion of the Hardy County interview process
- Required Passage of NOCTI Tests - 7092 – Mill & Cabinet Cabinetmaking (NOCTI) AND 7721 – Business Management & Administration Industry (NOCTI)
- Preference given to those with recent, relevant work experience in the manufacturing industry
- Preference given to those holding advanced degrees
- Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
- The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the Job Description, with or without reasonable accommodations

Minimum Requirements: - Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration.
- Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration.
- Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration.
- Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration.

Based on the salary scale - commensurate with experience and education
