Salary Range:
Putnam County Schools Professional Annual Salary based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule plus a competitive benefits package to include: PEIA insurance, retirement, life insurance, and free vision and dental insurance.
Job Description:
The Educational Diagnostician works under the direct supervision of the Director of Exceptional Education to provide services and leadership necessary for the effective implementation of exceptional education programs.
Qualifications:
Holds or qualifies for a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate endorsed for mental impairment, specific learning disabilities and/or behavior disorders or a West Virginia Professional Service Certificate endorsed for speech/language pathology.
Length of Employment: 210 Days
Responsibilities:
The educational diagnostician shall have the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the Putnam County Schools Job Description Handbook.

August 10, 2026
