Aide
The temporary school exceptional education aide supports the instructional program by performing tasks assigned by the special education teacher. The position is evaluated by the principal or assistant principal. Salary is based on experience and education level per Putnam County Board of Education salary schedule, with a competitive benefits package including PEIA insurance. The aide must hold a high school diploma or GED or TASC, have "Aide" classification, possess strong oral and written communication skills, and hold valid CPR and first aid cards.
Training required for exceptional education aides is also necessary. Employment is until employee returns or resigns.
