Title I Teacher/Coach

Location:

Roanoke Elementary School

Qualifications:

• Valid WV Elementary Certificate
• Valid Reading Specialist Certification preferred
• Computer Literate
• Knowledge of utilizing math manipulative for math instruction
• Knowledge of effective instructional strategies in the area of reading and mathematics

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance in developing, implementing, and monitoring the school and county Title I project
• Provide services to Title I students as outlined in the school/county Title I project
• Participate in staff development sessions
• Plan and implement activities to promote positive parental involvement
• Complete reports and record keeping related to Title I
• Analyze data for the purpose of program planning and improvement
• Participate in training and coursework that may be needed to implement and develop the school/county Strategic Plan
• Work cooperatively with administration, other teachers, parents, and community
• Attend and provide professional development
• Other duties as assigned by the principal, Title I Director, and/or Superintendent of Schools

Salary:
Commensurate with Certification and Experience

Term: 200 days  school year (prorated)
