Substitute Aide

Salary based on experience and education level per TCBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation. Board Approved Salary Schedule can be viewed here.

Applicants must be or have been classified in the category or must pass the state prescribed exam for such positions. Aide is required to have restraint training Must be able to lift 75 pounds.

Responsible for preparation of classroom activities under supervision of licensed teacher, assist the teacher with non-instructional classroom duties, work with small groups of students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher, and other duties as assigned.
