- Position Type:
Administration (Educator)/ Elementary School Principal - Three (3) years successful teaching experience
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The principal shall be the administrative head of the school to which he/she is assigned. He/she is recognized as the instructional leader and staff officer of the superintendent, subject to the limitations of the law and the county board
of education regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates instructional leadership to enhance school effectiveness by improving instructions, and augmenting student performance
- Provides purpose and direction for schools and county
- Demonstrates cognitive skills to gather, analyze and synthesize information to reach goal
- Manages group behaviors to achieve consensus
- Enhances quality of total school and county organization
- Organizes and delegates to accomplish goals
