Positions: After School Detention Teacher

Location: Poca Middle

Evaluated By: Principal/Assistant Principal

Length of Employment: As Needed

Salary Range: County Supplement (Hourly Rate)

Qualifications:The successful candidate must hold a West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate at

the grade levels of the students being served. Employment at the school preferred.

Responsibilities:In addition to abiding by established laws, policies, rules and regulations, the After School Detention Teacher shall have the following responsibilities and duties:

Document attendance of students assigned to After School Detention and submit to the appropriate school administrator.
Supervise students at all times.
Ensure that students complete assignments as required.
Assist students with assignments as requested.

Effective Employment Date: 2026-27 School Year
