Professional Learning and Enrichment Facilitator (PLEF)

$6,000 for the  school year (1/2 paid at end of 1st semester and 1/2 paid at end of school year)

Job Summary:

Wyoming County Schools seeks highly motivated educators to serve as Professional Learning & Enrichment Facilitators (PLEFs). The PLEF will provide on-site professional learning and support for student enrichment programs at the school level. This position is designed to strengthen Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), support administrators in instructional leadership, guide teachers in implementing research-based instructional practices aligned with WV Content Standards, and promote student learning enrichment experiences throughout Wyoming County.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to focus on student learning, collaboration, and instructional improvement.
  • Provide job-embedded modeling and feedback to teachers on lesson planning, delivery, and assessment.
  • Support educators in data analysis throughout the campus.
  • Support principals and instructional leaders in analyzing walk-through data and providing effective teacher feedback.
  • Collaborate with teachers to design enrichment and intervention strategies to close achievement gaps.
  • Participate in Communities of Practice for PLEFs to share best practices across the district.
  • Prepare reports and communicate instructional needs to district leadership.
Qualifications
  • Valid West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of successful teaching/administrative experience.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience facilitating professional development on the county, state, or national level.
