Job Title
General description of main/primary duties and responsibilities of the job, aptitude, level of complexity, span of control, autonomy, decision making and judgement. It is central and necessary to the satisfactory performance of the job. Includes the following and other duties as assigned.
Under limited supervision, this position will:
- Responsible for the project oversight and scheduling. Monitor daily progress and manage construction schedules to meet strict deadlines.
- Coordinate activities across multiple build sites and adjust timelines for delays or change orders.
- Monitor project expenditures to stay within the established construction budget.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, as-built maps, and compliance paperwork.
- Responsible for team and personnel management. Recruit, train and mentor new crew members including laborers and specialized subcontractors to ensure adherence to processes and policies.
- Supervise and direct daily duties for Construction Leads. Assign daily tasks and conduct performance appraisals or disciplinary actions as necessary.
- Responsible for resource and material coordination. Order necessary materials and equipment, tracking inventory to prevent workflow interruptions.
- Collaborate with engineers and vendors to resolve design problems or material discrepancies.
- Ensure safety and compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and other local health and safety regulations at all times.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety observations to prevent injuries and maintain a secure environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least five (5) years of experience in Production Construction related field.
Core competencies list and describe the required factors (i.e. knowledge, skills, abilities, software programs), that are needed for this role.
Leadership skills and ability to motivate diverse teams and manage conflict effectively.
Demonstrated technical knowledge. Proficiency in reading blueprints, understanding building codes, and using management software.
Problem-solving skills, and capacity to quickly address on-site challenges, such as equipment failure or design conflicts.
Good time management and organizational skills.
Safety sensitive related
Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, and tools.
Able to recognize and apply safety processes and procedures.
Possess valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR) that meet Company's Insurance qualifications to operate Company vehicle.
Supervisory responsibilities
This role will have supervisory responsibilities over a team. Supervises two (2) or more Full-Time Employees regularly. Responsible for regularly making decisions and/or recommendations concerning:
Interviewing/hiring. Mentoring/ongoing training. Setting or adjusting work hours. Plan, appoint, and direct the work. Appraise performance/productivity and efficiency. Recommend advancement, promotions, or other changes in status. Handle complaints/grievances and disciplinary issues.

This position may be subject to:
- Exposure to computer screens and requires regular use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system.
- Extreme Cold and Heat: temperatures typically below 32oF or above 100oF for periods of more than one hour.
- Noise: there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level.
- Vibration: exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body.
- Confined Space: work areas large enough for individual to enter, limited means of entry or exit, and not designed for continue occupancy.
- Hazards: includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals, combustibles, explosives, etc.
