Position overview
Are you a dedicated Maintenance Engineer eager to contribute to our team at Willow Island? This pivotal role entails providing maintenance, project, and facility support, overseeing repairs and upgrades to production equipment, buildings, and grounds, and collaborating with maintenance personnel to develop repair plans and solutions as needed. The ideal candidate will work closely with colleagues to enhance production facilities, mitigate costly breakdowns, and strategize to enhance reliability and safety for both plant personnel and production processes.
This position is crucial in fostering a culture of loss control and prevention, aiming for continuous improvement by minimizing downtime and optimizing overall equipment effectiveness.

Responsibilities- Maintain and analyze asset databases for performance and repair histories. This would include items such as vessels, piping, mechanical PM’s etc.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and optimize Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules.
- Manage the site Mechanical Integrity program and vibration monitoring program.
- Support technical plant layout and equipment upgrades.
- Lead and manage projects, providing support for process equipment and system repairs.
- Utilize SAP in various functions to support the mechanical integrity program.
- Track and maintain mechanical regulatory inspections as outlined in API standards.
- Improve and monitor Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) for appropriate equipment.
- Experience in the chemical, manufacturing, or related industry is preferred.
- Capital Management experience.
- Experience with API standards related to process piping, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and storage tanks.
- Familiarity with SAP business platform as pertains to MI.
- Fluent English is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other technical field.
Or
- Proven track record of experience in chemical plant operations or manufacturing, combined with a relevant qualification in mechanical engineering.
