Position Summary
Reliance One is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Powertrain department in developing operating process plans for machining or assembly operations. This role will lead the planning, procurement, installation, and launch of engine and transmission machining or assembly lines while managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional collaboration.

Compensation$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities- Develop operating process plans to machine or assemble parts within the Powertrain department.
- Lead, plan, procure, install, trial, and launch engine or transmission machining and assembly lines.
- Create and maintain schedules and budgets for assigned areas.
- Develop and improve standard tools and benchmarks.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional working groups across local facilities and corporate departments to achieve project goals.
- Visualize activity plans and schedules to facilitate quick consensus building and secure project priorities.
- Analyze critical manufacturing issues and clearly communicate root causes and countermeasure plans to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Experience in process engineering, including schedule and budget management.
- AutoCAD experience with the ability to read, interpret, and modify drawings.
- 3D CAD experience with the ability to read and interpret designs.
- Willingness to work required overtime and travel as needed (domestic and international).
- Flexibility for business travel up to 20%.
- Ability to work weekends and during plant shutdowns (such as July and December holidays) as needed.
