100% On‑site, no remote work (Local candidates only) - Hours:
8:00 AM – 4:30 PM; rotational shifts may apply
Tier 3 (L3) IT Infrastructure Engineer works with a technical team to resolve complex network, server and plant‑floor issues. The role is fully on‑site with responsibilities spanning LAN/WAN support, infrastructure planning, server management, and critical plant equipment troubleshooting.
Responsibilities Network (LAN, WAN & Wireless)- Troubleshoot and administer Cisco Layer 2 & Layer 3 routing, Wi‑Fi, PBX and other standard protocols
- Support IT cabling, infrastructure planning and design including cable patching, switch configuration, port enable/disable and traffic analysis
- Capture and analyze network traffic (e.g., Wire Shark)
- Perform network maintenance, support and refresh
- Act as Smart‑Hands for remote teams and third‑party vendors for issue escalation and resolution
- Install and troubleshoot server‑room hardware such as rack servers, fiber, switches, disk drives, memory, etc.
- Act as Smart‑Hands for remote teams and third‑party vendors for issue escalation and resolution
- Support hardware for servers, data backup libraries and SAN/NAS
- Maintain, support and refresh server, storage and backup systems: rack‑mount installation and configuration
- Apply Server 2012/2016 policy and security management
- Act as Smart‑Hands for remote teams and third‑party vendor issue escalation
- Support ANDON and PLC (Programmable Logical Controls)
- Provide first‑level support for business and plant‑floor applications, escalating to SMEs
- Apply troubleshooting, problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis for outages and problem management
- Work under pressure during plant‑down situations, requiring rapid turnaround
- Available on‑call 24×7 outside work hours, willing to work flexible hours and overtime
- Support conference‑room and meeting technology
- 3+ years of Level 3 network support
- Extensive experience with Cisco LAN/WAN and networking hardware (switches, cabinets) including installation and upgrades
- Proven end‑to‑end network support with effective troubleshooting and escalation
- Strong communication and coordination skills for cross‑functional collaboration
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, subnetting, VLAN, and PoE
- Experience supporting a large corporate or manufacturing environment
