Job DescriptionWe seek a passionate engineer with in-depth knowledge on camera ISP algorithm to join the Camera Systems team.
The Camera Systems team creates embedded imaging solutions for Snapdragon chipsets that power advanced mobile devices, next-generation mobile photography and video experiences. Our solutions leverage dedicated hardware, ISP, multi-core processors, DSP, and GPU cores to provide state-of-the-art photographs, video recordings, as well as scene data for image understanding and object detection. Responsibilities include the following:
Research and development of advanced ISP algorithm to achieve best camera image quality.
Design of camera systems that balance power, memory, silicon area to maximize imaging performance.
Prototype and validating solutions on embedded platforms for proof of concept and demonstration purposes.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy robust and efficient imaging solutions into commercial products.
Deployment and tuning support of solutions that improve the mobile imaging experience.
50%–70% workload for customer support; 20% onsite availability for business travel across APAC and China.
Qualification (For experienced candidate) 5+ years working experiences in the following areas:
Must be experienced with classical image processing algorithms development.
Camera and image processing technologies.
Image signal processor pipeline design.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
C, C++, Python, Matlab.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Camera ISP HW algo development.
Experience with using a mix of traditional image processing techniques and machine learning
Experience with different types of sensors and algorithms for sensor and optics processing
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
