FPGA Engineer (Campus Hire 2026)

As an FPGA Engineer (Campus Hire 2026), you will work with experienced hardware and system engineers to design, implement, and validate FPGA/CPLD functions used on server motherboards and related sub-cards. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are passionate about digital design, hardware-software integration, and hands-on debugging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement FPGA/CPLD functions for server motherboards and related sub-cards
  • Develop FPGA/CPLD code, build simulation environments, and execute simulation and on-board testing
  • Support bring-up, debugging, and issue resolution throughout the full development lifecycle
  • Review and inspect FPGA/CPLD-related schematic designs and interfaces
  • Collaborate with hardware, BIOS, and system teams to ensure correct integration
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for FPGA/CPLD design and testing activities
  • Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions for FPGA/CPLD-related issues
Skills & Experience Must-have
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Fundamental knowledge of digital logic design and computer architecture
  • Basic experience or coursework in FPGA/CPLD development
  • Familiarity with HDL languages such as Verilog or VHDL
  • Understanding of simulation and verification concepts
  • Ability to read schematics and technical documentation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
Good-to-have
  • Hands-on experience with FPGA tools (e.g., Xilinx or Intel/Altera)
  • Exposure to server platforms, high-speed interfaces, or board-level design
  • Experience with lab equipment such as logic analyzers or oscilloscopes
  • Internship or project experience related to hardware or FPGA design
