Senior Development Manager
We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to lead our server hardware development organization. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end hardware development, ensuring high-quality product delivery, and leading cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple hardware engineering functions, including BMC Hardware Development, Component Engineering, Hardware Validation, and Engineering Change (EC).
- Drive server hardware design, development, validation, and engineering execution from concept through production.
- Collaborate with architecture, system, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and program management teams to ensure successful product delivery.
- Establish engineering processes, quality standards, and execution excellence across the organization.
- Lead engineering change management and ensure timely implementation of design updates and issue resolution.
- Mentor and develop technical talent while fostering a high-performance, ONE team culture.
- Manage project schedules, resource planning, technical risk mitigation, and organizational priorities.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in design quality, validation efficiency, and development productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of hardware development experience, with extensive knowledge of server hardware design and validation.
- Proven experience managing engineering organizations and leading multiple technical teams.
- Strong understanding of server architecture, component qualification, hardware validation methodologies, and engineering change processes.
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration, project execution, and people management.
- Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in global engineering organizations is preferred.
