Senior Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Development Manager to lead our server hardware development organization. This role is responsible for driving end-to-end hardware development, ensuring high-quality product delivery, and leading cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple hardware engineering functions, including BMC Hardware Development, Component Engineering, Hardware Validation, and Engineering Change (EC).
  • Drive server hardware design, development, validation, and engineering execution from concept through production.
  • Collaborate with architecture, system, firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and program management teams to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Establish engineering processes, quality standards, and execution excellence across the organization.
  • Lead engineering change management and ensure timely implementation of design updates and issue resolution.
  • Mentor and develop technical talent while fostering a high-performance, ONE team culture.
  • Manage project schedules, resource planning, technical risk mitigation, and organizational priorities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in design quality, validation efficiency, and development productivity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 10+ years of hardware development experience, with extensive knowledge of server hardware design and validation.
  • Proven experience managing engineering organizations and leading multiple technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of server architecture, component qualification, hardware validation methodologies, and engineering change processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration, project execution, and people management.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working in global engineering organizations is preferred.
