Join Plastivaloire as a Methods Injection Specialist!

As part of our development, we are looking for a specialized Methods Specialist in Injection to join our site in Amiens. Reporting to the Technical Service & Methods department, you will be the technical reference on plastic injection processes and will contribute to the industrialization of new products and the optimization of existing processes.

Main Missions

Industrialization of Plastic Injection Products:

• Conduct injection tests, analyze results, and write technical reports.
• Participate in the design and optimization of injection tools and molds.
• Ensure the start-up in production of new projects and transfer to production units.

Continuous Process Improvement:

• Diagnose technical malfunctions related to injection (defects in parts, waste, etc.) and propose corrective solutions.
• Lead action plans to improve productivity, quality, and safety of injection processes.

— Optimize the adjustment parameters of injection presses (temperature, pressure, cycle time, etc.).

Technical Support and Training:

• Train teams (managers, adjusters, technicians) on new injection methods and processes.
• Lead technical meetings and working groups to solve injection-related problems.
• Advise project teams on technical feasibility and risks related to injection processes.

Profile Sought

Holder of a technical degree in plastics (Bac+2/3 minimum) or mechanical engineering (or equivalent), you have at least 5 years of experience in plastic injection. Your expertise covers:

• The adjustment of presses,
• The analysis of production defects,
• The optimization of cycles.

You are proficient in continuous improvement tools (5S, SMED, etc.) and have knowledge of automation or robotics (electrical, hydraulic, etc.), a major asset for this position.

Rigorous, autonomous, and with a analytical mind, you know how to mobilize teams around technical challenges and transmit best practices. Pedagogical both orally and in writing, you write clear technical documents (reports, files, emails) and master Microsoft Office tools (Excel for spreadsheets, Word, Outlook).

Your patience, your listening skills, and your ability to communicate with various stakeholders (adjusters, project managers, etc.) are essential. Finally, your technical English allows you to exchange with foreign suppliers or colleagues.
