Objective of the position:From the Installations Operating Unit, we are looking for an Operations Financial Controller to support the financial control and monitoring of the industrial and operational activities of the OU. This person will collaborate in the analysis of costs, budgets, and variances, working in coordination with the operations, program, supply chain, and finance teams, contributing to accurate economic planning in an industrial environment with a certain level of complexity and presence across multiple sites.
Yourmain responsibilities:
- Preparation and maintenance of operations reporting (unit costs, operating expenses, hours incurred, sales, etc.)
- Analysis and control of operating costs, coordinating all centers and identifying optimization opportunities
- Analysis and control of hours incurred, correcting errors
- Support in the definition and monitoring of the cost model
- Preparation of the budget, business plan, and quarterly closing forecasts
- Monthly budget follow‑up, variance analysis, and preparation of explanations for management
- Support in investment analysis
- Education:
D egree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, or Engineering (with complementary training in finance and management control) - Required experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in management control, finance, or accounting, or in production/operations environments with knowledge of industrial cost models. - Required knowledge:
- Management control and analytical accounting
- SAP FI/CO (user level)
- Advanced Excel (cost models, variance analysis)
- Languages:
Spanish and professional English - Soft Skills:
- Focus on continuous improvement and optimization of operating costs
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate with any area of the company
- Clear and effective communication, especially with non‑financial profiles
- Results‑oriented and deadline‑driven
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn in a demanding industrial environment
- Ability to produce clear, structured, and reliable operational reporting to support decision‑making
You will be part of the Controlling team of the Operating Unit, providing financial support to the entire OU and working closely with the Unit Director. The role will have a multitask and multisite focus, coordinating information and economic monitoring across different areas and sites to ensure the achievement of results.
