Responsible for all processing duties related to the production of over 20 types of consumer/retail loans including ARMs, Business Purpose Consumer Loans, and Consumer Loans to self-employed borrowers; managing the third party vendor relationship (appraisals, title and flood), preparing loan documents and all regulatory required early and loan closing disclosures and booking closed loans to Silverlake/Core system
Essential Functions- Prepares upfront regulatory required disclosures on all closed end real estate loans daily, including Retail ARMs
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with HOEPA
- Print and distribute credit score disclosure letters daily
- Review approved consumer loans in Decision Pro to determine conditions that must be met prior to closing/processing vendor work, including verification, vesting issues and miscellaneous documentation requirements
- Request/process vendor work on all real estate secured loans including ordering flood determinations, property reports and property valuations
- Process flood and property valuation disputes/upgrades when appropriate
- Maintain correspondence with all vendor work service providers including flood vendor, property report vendor, property valuation vendors and all real estate appraisers
- Maintain and update databases used to track status of loans in process; also performs follow‑up on outstanding vendor work daily
- Review and process requests for loan documents
- Verify application/loan document accuracy including address, SS numbers, applicant names, lien positions and loan‑to‑value ratio; enter this information into Laser Pro, either via export or manually
- Verify insurance coverage amounts meet policy requirements; in‑depth verification of flood insurance coverage including coverage amounts, effective dates and loss payee clause
- Calculate all City National Bank payoffs including any applicable lien release and/or recording fees
- Place holds and determine source of funds on all CD/Savings secured retail loans
- Prepare, print and distribute loan documents to all retail loan branches
- Upload/book all retail loans from Laser Pro directly into Silverlake system including but not limited to the input of numerous key data
- Answer questions/inquiries from branches, personal bankers and City National Op Center employees
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 - 2 years retail loan experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Experience with Laser Pro preferred
- Work is generally performed indoors in environmentally controlled conditions
- Typically, the employee may sit to perform the work. However, there may be some standing, walking, bending and carrying of light items in the course of the work

- Understanding of consumer/retail lending principles
- Understanding of consumer lending regulatory requirements including but not limited to Reg. B, Reg. Z, HOEPA, Flood and Bank Secrecy Act
- Must be able to work under critical time constraints, with large volume of credit applications, prioritize and multitask
