Job Overview

The Investment Operations Director supports the Chief Investment Officer and the Investment Office for the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of the $4.3bn Endowment.

Additional Duties, Including but Not Limited To
  • Prepare performance and analytic reports; maintain and enhance risk, liquidity, cash planning and exposure models, working closely with the University's Finance Office, custodian, and other outside software and service providers.
  • Assist in the periodic preparation of Investment Subcommittee materials.
  • Provide recommendations for new processes, analysis, and approaches that enhance the overall effectiveness and accuracy of investment reporting and analysis and streamline workflow.
Work Interactions

The Director of Operations is a key position in managing the university’s financial assets, reporting directly to the CIO, and interacting with numerous people in the Finance Office, providing critical reporting to enable portfolio rebalancing, cash management, and risk management.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years’ work experience, preferably in accounting or investment operations.
  • Strong academic credentials;
    Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a relevant field. CPA preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Coding experience is appreciated but not required.
  • Experience with Solovis, Burgiss, BNY Custodian systems helpful.
  • Detail oriented with strong problem‑solving capabilities and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Able to learn new systems and workflows quickly.
  • Demonstrated general interest in investments and asset management.
Work Mode Designation

This position is designated as Hybrid. The designation may be reviewed to meet evolving needs.

Pay Range

$ – $. Compensation is determined by individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University’s business needs and external factors.
