The Quality Abstractor is responsible for collecting specific data elements from discharged records to accrue an aggregate database for use in quality review and utilization review and collecting data on patients for reporting to the applicable state registry.
Minimum Qualifications:Education, certification, and/or licensure:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
1. One (1) year of experience in a healthcare‑related field or one (1) year in abstracting.

1. Two (2) years in abstracting.
