🚨 Now Hiring: O.R. Surgical Technologist – First Assistant 🚨
📍 Location: Glen Dale, WV
Within 50-mile radius rule (Driver’s license required at submission)
🗓 Assignment: 13 Weeks
⏰ Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8-hour shifts (may vary 4–10 hrs)
📞 On-Call: Some weekday & weekend call required
🚀 Start Date: ASAP
💻 Charting System: MEDITECH
The O.R. Surgical Technologist – First Assistant functions as the surgeon’s assistant, working directly under supervision throughout procedures.
Responsibilities include assisting the:
- Surgeon
- Nurse
- Anesthesiologist and/or CRNA
Support is provided during:
- Preoperative
- Intraoperative
- Postoperative phases
Must demonstrate expertise in:
- Sterile & aseptic technique
- Human anatomy & surgical procedures
- Surgical instrumentation & technology
✔ Graduate of an accredited surgical assisting program (CAAHEP preferred)
✔ Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
✔ BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
✔ Minimum 3 years of experience
✔ Unexpired driver’s license required at submission
✔ Any licensure hits must be disclosed
