Job DescriptionProvide direct and indirect therapeutic prevention and intervention services to students and schools. The BCBA conducts descriptive and systematic behavior assessments, including functional analyses, and provides interpretation and recommendations of the results. The BCBA will teach staff to carry out effective behavior interventions and deliver instruction in behavior analysis.
- Enforce and uphold the BCBA Code of Ethics, and Guidelines for Responsible Conduct for Behavior Analysts
- Conduct and implement behavioral assessment measures, functional assessments, and functional analysis
- Provide direct service to students for behavior modifications and instruction to staff as needed
- Develop behavior plans, environment modifications, and classroom rules and procedures using data and principles of applied behavior analysis
- Evaluate student progress using data collection techniques and assessments
- Analyze and interpret student data to plan and differentiate instruction and behavior supports
- Support all staff in developing and executing classroom management strategies to include student direct support in classrooms
- Develop conduct trainings for staff and families
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, students, administrators, and community agencies.
- Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent and or Supervisor of Pupil Services
