About the role
Join our caring team at Christadelphian Aged Care in Gladesville as a Physiotherapist! This part-time role offers flexible, school-friendly hours and the opportunity to make a real difference to our Residents by providing assistance with pain management and rehabilitation to enhance our Residents’ everyday wellbeing.
What you'll be doing- Conducting physiotherapy assessments and developing individualised treatment plans for residents.
- Delivering a range of physiotherapy interventions, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and assistive device recommendations.
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure integrated and holistic care for residents.
- Providing education and training to residents, their families, and care staff on physiotherapy-related topics.
- Maintaining detailed clinical records and contributing to the continuous improvement of physiotherapy services.
- Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the aged care sector
- Demonstrated skills in assessment, treatment planning, and the delivery of evidence-based physiotherapy interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with residents, families, and the care team
- Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to continuing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices
