Minimum Qualifications- Must possess current license as required by state board where services will be provided: WV:
Pharmacist license through the West Virginia State Board of Pharmacy - Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 60 days of hire date
- Pharm.
D. from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
Candidates should have experience in at least ONE of the following areas:
- Completion of a PGY-2 Residency in an applicable clinical field
- Completion of a PGY-1 Residency
- Three years of relevant pharmacist experience

Skills and AbilitiesJob Description
This full time Clinical Pharmacy Generalist position is typically non-rounding and will cover adult hospitalist and surgical services. Scheduling is primarily day shift with weekend, holiday, and night shift grid coverage responsibilities. The clinical duties of this position include, but are not limited to, order verification, patient profile review, medication management, pharmacokinetic consultation, and other pharmacist-managed protocols. In addition, non-clinical expectations will include student precepting and participation in the adult Code Blue response team.
