Hours

18 hours (0.5 WTE) – 2.5 days per week, Monday to Friday.

Location

Based in one of Fife’s community hospitals, you will work across Glenrothes and North East Fife localities.

Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen within the Pulmonary Rehabilitation service as part of the Community Rehabilitation Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organise and lead pulmonary rehabilitation classes.
  • Line manage a band 4 physiotherapist.
  • Develop and deliver patient assessment and treatment plans for pulmonary rehab patients.
  • Prevent unnecessary hospital admissions, promote self‑management, and enable patient independence at home.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Registered with the HCPC.
  • Experience in NHS pulmonary rehabilitation and respiratory care.
  • Experience working with this patient group and associated assessment and treatment knowledge.
Other Requirements
  • Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme prior to appointment.
  • Right to work in the UK.
Training & Supervision

Regular supervision, PDP and training opportunities are available.

Travel

Ability to travel throughout the area is essential.

Flexibility and Holidays

Public holiday working is in operation (accept Christmas Day & New Years Day).

Compensation

Salary is pro rata for part‑time hours.
