Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a hospital-based outpatient therapy setting at Rivers Health in Point Pleasant, WV. The selected candidate will provide rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic, neurologic, and post-surgical conditions.

This role involves evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, delivering therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional independence.

  Meditech Expanse (Inpatient/Swing)
• The therapist may occasionally assist with Swing Bed or Inpatient coverage when required
  .

• Conduct initial patient evaluations and re-evaluations
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments
• Implement therapeutic exercises and functional rehabilitation programs
• Provide gait training and mobility improvement strategies
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation within EMR systems
• Ensure safe patient handling, transfers, and mobility training

• Orthopedic injuries and post-operative recovery
• Spine and musculoskeletal disorders
• Osteoarthritis and degenerative joint diseases
• Stroke rehabilitation and neurological conditions
• Balance disorders and vestibular conditions
• Mobility impairments and chronic pain conditions

• Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapist experience
• BLS Certification
• Experience in Outpatient, Acute Care, or Skilled Nursing settings preferred
• Strong patient assessment and rehabilitation skills

• Community hospital experience
• EMR experience with Meditech or similar systems

• Orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation
• Gait training and mobility assistance
• Manual therapy techniques
• Pain management modalities
• Strength and mobility assessments
• Use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment
• Patient safety and fall prevention

• E-stim
• TENS
• Cryotherapy
• Traction
• Therapeutic exercises

• Floating may occur based on facility needs
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Travelers may be required to work some holidays
